Photo 243 Days go by as I stand on the edge of my turning point. I sit facing the sky for rain to fall on me and finally be able to set the fires into ashes of yesterday’s desperation. But no, there is no chance of precipitation anytime soon. Just disguised light blue skies with a burning deception.

Photo 242 My fashion class has got to be one of my favorites. We get into discussion groups and talk about a puzzling question student’s ask about fashion today. I really like getting into it and sharing my perspective with my classmates. God, I’m going to miss this class.

Photo 241 It’s my suitemate Elle’s 21st birthday! My roommates and I decided to surprise her with a little party at midnight and gifts we had planned ahead to give her. Since it was a very important age in her life, we wanted to keep it fabulous. I have to say, it all was very fun and very well done but most importantly she was very happy. We sang karaoke songs, cut the cake, drank a couple of shots, said our little speeches to her and danced the night away. There was one little thing I knew that was missing in her birthday late that night, but my roommates and I guided her towards seeing the positivism of the night no matter what seemed aloof.

Photo 240 Back to class mode, time to beat the midterm and cover up the past. I had yet to see what new things came my way and what new excuses where going to learn to walk on their own. Slowly the world around me was beating me at the race I was suppose to win first. It made me feel worse to know that everyone new the shortcuts to the race and I was still stuck behind knowing nothing from the one who invented the game. The hidden notes were shown before me and it kept me aware of how the race was being held. It was unfair but it was what it was. Going to dinner with friends and hiding the joys of life with sarcasm and plays, was very pleasant for that moment. I had a good dinner and right there you see my peach buddie that made eating so much more fun.

Photo 239 I must focus! I have a midterm tomorrow and I can’t let yesterday’s syntax errors take over what I still have left, my academic success. So much to absorb and lots more to exhale. I had to constantly remind myself that I was able to do this and that I knew what I had yet to do. Economics, something I can be capable to understand [and I did], outside world, it’s very versatile not so understandable. I wrote many things on my wall as I reviewed my hand written problems. Things that even my friends found astounding until today. I kept my wall inspirational, with people’s quotes and many of my own that helped me understand a realist kind of life and get me through the day. Your goals, aspirations and motives will never leave you, only the other more uncertain part of your atmosphere can never be known.

Photo 238 This day has got to be the one of the worst I’ve had yet this year. Stuck between the thin dark holes that were covered by barriers of lies. The dark holes had blinded me so much that I wanted to deny seeing what had been so evident from the start of a sinking ground with dark steep walls. I was trapped in a bitter nightmare that made me feel so naive. Like everything I ever learned in life failed, and I fell trapped to see it coming once again like it did awhile before. Everything seemed broken, everything that could possibly stayed glued together was slowly slipping with many mistakes. I couldn’t pin myself together. I fell to the ground in front of everyone, in front of myself and let every stream of foolishness drip down my cheeks. It wasn’t me this whole time, it was my wooden bubble walls buried in lies. I had to get myself out of this well, but how? How can I leave a place that was far below the ground without falling down the rocks again? Should I ask for help or advice? Or should I solve this myself  like I always solve every obstacle along my way? How long would it take? Should I say anything? Or should I let time unravel the walls? I have become so numb. Every moment flashed by continuously to keep me locked up in this uncontrollable cage my mind created. How can I be the same? How can I not burst with so much lithium injected inside my veins? When will I be able to sleep again? All these questions, which one to answer? Which one can take me out of this dark hole? Oh God.

Photo 237 Finally the last drag of the week. The earliest class to attend and a quiz to take over.  Nothing better on a Friday right? I can so tell from looking around that no one wants to be here but the requirement of getting as many points and review before the midterm, drives us to get through it all. It’s all worth the struggle.

Photo 236 Time to feast, feast, feast. The week was coming closer to the end and it doesn’t get better than having a boost of motivation on a Thursday night. Great friends, delicious food and the enjoyment of everyone’s company. It’s a take of fresh air.

Waiting for her love to return from overseas while wondering if her love is gazing back into her vibrant soul. A hauntingly romantic image in the sky. This night beautifully memorable. Sharing the night skies with the roommates as we poetically spoke our thoughts of the night sky.

Photo 234 There are many types of personalities I am in different occasions, but in the end, I’m still who I am deep inside. In class I am this student that likes to dress up, walk past the doors 5 minutes after class started, making my grand entrance and then sitting as I nerdly seem to be paying attention. I am nice, helpful and seem to always come prepared. When I’m outside, I’m a dreamer. A freespirit with expectations that don’t line up with reality at times. I look behind outdoor windows and find the colors that keep the pavements up. I can sometimes come off as rough around the edges because I build up my confidence into this untouchable shrine. I am honest but can always find the way to make things better. I want to secretly fly but my feet attach me to the ground. Dreams keep my aspirations high and the outside world is my test in life.
