Student Art in Focus: Participatory Arts Projects Displayed in SSM Gallery | The Prodigy
Just stumbled across this newspaper article in the UCM ‘The Prodigy.’
It has a small section where it talks about the first participatory art project my colleagues and I worked on called Dreams.
Thank you to those who participated. There are many more projects to come in the future. :)

This might look surreal, but this is exactly how the sunrise looked this morning. It was very bright yellow with a picturesque looking aura to it. This is most likely one of the only reasons why I like waking up early to go to class. Just to glance at the most gorgeous star of the day. The Sun Whose Rays Are All Ablaze with ever living glory.

Sometimes in life, I just love to sit and feel time in slow motion as I look around and observe what others do. Everything starts looking clear and nothing seems out of place. I connect things like how fast birds flap their wings and how far in time they stop themselves before running into a tree. How one isolates themselves. How constant the wind likes to push hair to the side. How people interact with others or the direction their shoes face. What makes individuals tick. What gets them going and what makes people stop. Above it all, the gray sky seems to control what goes on below. I wonder if the feelings of the sky inject into our being and gets us through the day. My mind constructs its own puzzles and solves it on its own. I’m not sure of all the answers, I’m just a dreamer and perhaps not the only one.

Why hello there cutie! It was an afternoon of playing around with animals at the pet shop. I saw the most cutest animals including a chinchilla which I wanted to take home with me. It would of never worked because I can’t have pets both here and home if it’s not bigger than a fish, and moreover the price tag on a chinchilla was out of the question. However, it was still pleasant to just watch little hamsters move around as I sang to them or play around with a white beta fish with black circular eyes which I named Lady Gaga. Sad part is, Gaga later got bought by someone else. O’well, at least it’s not alone.

Sat by to watch the new Chancellor’s welcome speech as I watched how people’s eyes praised her. I don’t know what to expect from her as everyone at school loves and misses our former chancellor, but it’s never bad to give change a chance. Change is great and only helps us grow and learn more. It can be black or white, who knows?
